Considering that cars are usually parked in large parking lots and little shade, there is a vast amount of solar energy that is being wasted by not being captured and repurposed. This concept involves creating an apparatus that attaches to a car visor (in a similar way that a garage door opener attaches). Along the surface of the device are solar panels for capturing the solar energy. The device will have spots to attach USB devices (such as cellular phones) or batteries for devices such as garage door openers.
